Photography research

I've been reading through a book called Mastering Nature Photography: Shooting and Selling in The Digital Age by John Kieffer (2004) on Google Books.
It's actually about ways to improve your photography to be able to sell the photographs, but I can take information from this as I will be taking photographs to advertise and to sell on tshirts.
I've found a lot of helpful information that I can keep in mind when I go to take test shots, and especially for when I take my final photographs for my tshirts and for my advertisements. So far, I know that I want to try shooting near water to provide open views and reflections, which can become very interesting when photographed.
I have learnt to take photographs from all different angles as you never know what you might discover.
Also that water represents life, vitality, serenity, change, along with a few other things, which I can keep in mind to try and capture these meanings.
I want to take photographs at different times of the day, especially morning as things such as fog, mist and the sun rising can create interesting photographs that convey a lot of meanings.

I have also borrowed two books from the library about photographing flowers and landscapes. Tomorrow I am going to take advantage of the weather and spend the day taking test shots with my camera and camcorder, I can also scout some local locations.
