George Lepp -
I think that from looking through Lepps photography, I can see that he focuses on one feature in each photograph - such as the curves of the petal, or capturing the water droplets on the flower. I think I could try and capture the same sort of things in my photographs too, especially since he concentrated a lot on tulips, and I have some tulips at home to take photographs of once they open.
I have noticed that focusing on one small thing tends to be a popular thing to do in nature photography, as it was mentioned in Photographing Flowers by Sue Bishop (2004).
I think that I will be experimenting a lot more once my flowers have opened, as I will be borrowing 300mm and 500mm lenses from Wednesday, and so I can experiment through the rest of the week and aim to have my final images for the weekend.
I aim to have 4 final images as I have decided to print 4 t-shirts, I think this is a good amount as I won't be selling them and it means that I will have a range of print adverts, as well as a range of t-shirts on show for my exhibition.
